Swimming Pool Pumps – An Engine for a Clean Swim
Swimming is recognised as one of the best ways to keep fit and to keep the heart and body active and healthy, but perhaps without the work of swimming pool pumps, this activity would not be quite as highly recommended as it is. Many of us love to swim, some of us on a weekly or even daily basis as part of a fitness regime or through pure enjoyment. Some of us are involved in sports involving swimming and require large amounts of time spent training and exercising in the water. Many others simply love to jump into the refreshing waters of a pool when it’s holiday time, especially when we first arrive at the hotel after a long and stuffy journey. However, we all take one thing for granted. That the water we are swimming in is clean and healthy enough to spend lots of time in! It’s fair to say that without swimming pool pumps; our pools certainly wouldn’t be clean enough and certainly couldn’t guarantee there would be no health issues without the pump doing its job. Some public swimming pool pumps have to run 24 hours a day in order for the water to be safe for the public to use. The pump helps to filter any detritus from the water. If you can imagine for a moment all the human bodies, along with all the bacteria and dry skin that surely must be left in the water, long after we leave it! The pump also helps to distribute all the chemicals cleanly throughout the whole pool, to ensure that the bacteria are zapped not just in a couple of corners but everywhere you might swim! So, next time you are happily swimming, remember the engine that is the pump that is making it all possible.
